Early twentieth century cigarette case, stamped 900, of hinged oblong form with deep purple blue guilloché enamel in wavy concentric circles with stylised white reed and ribbon border, opening to reveal a gilt interior with personal date engraving 25-11-26. Stamped 900 alongside KN and further distorted continental mark. Measuring 3 1/4 inches (8.2 cm) by 2.5 inches (6.3 cm), weight 4.8 ozt (150 grams).

Condition Report
The cigarette case displays scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. Heavier scratches visible to the enamel. Wear and rounding of the corners visible. Slight splitting to the tube hinge components in areas, teh hinge however in good working order, the lid holding closed but rising in the closed position. Gilt interior worn and large acid test visible to the edge. The marks are distorted in parts, also stamoed 7.
