Lot Description
A late Victorian silver oval pill box of plain form, the hinged lid inlaid with a painted river scene and glass covering, cracked, hallmarked John Edward Wilmot Birmingham 1900, maximum length measuring 4.5 cm. Together with a pair of white metal stork ribbon scissors, unmarked, an early twentieth century silver vanity box of circular domed form, hallmarked Chester 1913 and a modern silver ‘last Rolo’. Gross weight 3.5 ozt (109 grams). (4).

Condition Report
All items display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The late Victorian box has significant wear and crazing to the painting, the glass covering is cracked, the gilt interior also heavily discoloured. Acid test visible to three to three parts. The vanity box also has a gilt interior which is discoloured the two halves are also a little loose when shut. The hallmarks, present to three parts, are clear and legible.
