Lot Description

A late ninteenth century blue glass double-ended scent bottle, of ten-sided faceted form, with hinged brass lid terminations, one end with a colourless glass stopper. Length 5 1/8 inches (13cm).

The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The brass shows minor discolouration and traces of possible silver plating to the inside of the lid. The stopper has small chips and nicks. There is overall moderate abrasion to facet edges. The glass has some small gas bubbles, visible when held to the light.
