The box has general scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. The lid displays more tarnishing. The reeded decoration appears quite rubbed with noticeable loss of definition. The inside of the box is very tarnished, causing it to be difficult to see the hallmarks. However, they are still visible on legible inspection. Small repairs visible to the lower seam and areas of the hinge.
