An oriental white metal snuff box with pebble form base and flat hinged lid embossed with a dragon surrounding a vacant cartouche and engraved monogram, marked WO, length measuring 8.4 cm, weight 61 grams. Together with a Continental base metal example of shaped form, the hinged lid engraved with a lively musical scene of a string trio performing for Royalty, maximum length measuring 9.4 cm. (2).

Condition Report
Both snuff boxes display general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing. The Oriental example displays numerous shallow dints and bumps and the interior appears quite pitted. The base metal example would require re-plating. Both hinges are in good working order.
