Lot Description

William IV silver snuff box of rectangular form with engine turned decoration to the body with vacant cartouche,  reeded edge and floral thumb piece and opening to reveal a silver-gilt interior, hallmarked Birmingham 1831, the maker probably Thomas Shaw, length measuring 5.5cm. Together with a modern silver snuff box with engine turned decoration, rose coloured banding and  initialled cartouche, hallmarked Birmingham 1996. Gross combined weight 74 grams. (2).
