9ct gold Jubilee snuff box of oval form, to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elisabeth II, the decorated hinged cover applied with a profile portrait of the Queen to the centre between the dates 1952 and 1977, with the words 'Faith and Truth I will bear unto you' around the rim, the lid opening to reveal the royal insignia to the interior, in original box with certificate of issue, no.28/100. Hallmarked Toye, Kenning & Spencer, Birmingham 1977. Maximum length 5.5 cm, gross weight 83.7 grams.

Condition Report
The gold displays general light wear and surface marks and scratches, with some larger scratches visible to the underside and some contact marks around the rim. Also contact marks to the flange and a couple of minor rim nicks. There is considerable damage to the lid. It appears to be enamel but is very thin in appearance so it is possibly not. There are cracks, a couple of tiny pieces missing and some loose pieces. Hallmarks to the underside are very clear, also inscribed 28/100.
