A William IV silver snuff box, of rectangular form, the wrigglework engraved lid with wreath detail, to the geometric engraved sides and floral reverse, with engraved date 1832. Hallmarked WE, tentatively attributed to William Edwards, London, 1822. Length 2 1/16 inches (5.3cm). Weight 0.88 ozt (27.62 grams).

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. There is a shallow dent to the base. There is wear to the gilt finish. The lid does not quite close tightly. The hallmarks are slightly poorly struck, the makers mark slightly more so. There is wear to the engraving at the edges of the box.
