Lot 689

Lot Description

An American vinaigrette, marked sterling, modelled as a saddle bag opening to reveal a gilt interior. Stamped 925 Sterling. Length measuring 2 cm, weight 8.9 grams.

Postage: Auction Default

Weight: No

Total lot weight: No

Vinaigrette displays some general light wear and light surface marks and scratches.  There is a little bit more wear to edges, sides and corners with some slight loss of detail to decoration in places.  There appear to be a couple of breaks in the pierced grille decoration.  Hinges are in good working order and sterling mark is very clear.
