Lot Description

A William IV silver wine label with foliate scroll and shell border, pierced  Sherry, hallmarked Charles Reily & George Storer London 1833. Together with a modern silver wine label of similar style engraved Rum and hallmarked Birmingham 1977 with the sponsors mark R.E.P. Gross weight 34 grams. (2).

Both wine labels are in good condition with general scratches and wear. Remnants of old polish is visible in the recesses of both labels. Hallmarks on the Rum labels are very clear and legible. However the hallmarks to the Sherry label have been cut off slightly due to the piercing of the word Sherry.
