Both salts display general wear, some tarnishing and various surface marks and scratches.  Some deeper scratches in places and various minor nicks/dints in the metal.  Both salts also display some pin prick holes in the metal at the point where the rim folds over.  Some slight loss of detail to decoration and also remnants of polish visible in some areas.  On one of the salts, one of the feet is slightly bent to one side.  Some slight distortion to hallmarks but all still legible.
