Lot Description
A selection of four Victorian and later silver vesta cases, each of rectangular form with foliate scroll engraving, three personally engraved, hallmarked Sheffield 1897 and Birmingham 1896/1908/1914. Together with a Victorian silver lighter with engine turned decoration and monogrammed cartouche, hallmarked George Unite & Sons Birmingham 1883. (5).

Condition Report
All five pieces have general scratches, marks, tarnishing and wear, although with some variance of condition. The lighter is not in working condition, the lid does not close fully, the hinge loose and the press release is missing among other components, some of the engraved decoration has worn. The smallest vesta case appears in poor condition, primarily with a large repair below the hinge. All pieces have a few dents visible to the edges and corners. All hallmarks although display some variance overall are visible and legible.
