Early twentieth century silver mounted pin cushion modelled as an elephant standing on all four. Hallmarked W J Myatt & Co Birmingham, date letter illegible. Length measuring 7 cm.

The pin cushion displays general scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The silver appears to have been a little over polished and the hallmarks have almost been completely been worn away. Seams and solder have become visible to the head and each of the feet. A few minor dints and bumps also visible. The material has been replaced. The lower part of the tail is missing also with heavy tarnishing visible to the underside.
