Lot Description
An early Victorian Edinburgh silver wine funnel, the monogrammed bowl to the bulbous tapering spout with three strengtheners and detachable strainer with shell grip. Hallmarked James McKay, Edinburgh 1842. Length 5 1/8 inches (13cm). Weight 3.534 ozt (109.91 grams).

Condition Report
The lot is in fair to good overall condition with small dents and scratches in keeping with general wear. There are two noticeable dents to the bowl and the tip of the spout is bent. The bowl is monogrammed with a Gothic S. The detachable spout has shallow dents to the rim. The hallmarks are slightly worn. There is some slight pitting.
