Lot Description
Late Victorian silver cream jug, with frilled rim, moulded girdle decoration and scrolled handle, all raised above three shell capped hoof feet. Hallmarked James Wakely & Frank Clarke Wheeler, London 1898. Height including handle measures 3 3 /8 inches (8.5 cm), weight 3.17 ozt (98.6 grams).

Jug displays some light tarnishing and general wear, surface marks and scratches. Various minor nicks, especially around the frilled rim. Maker's mark partly distorted but hallmarks legible.
