Lot Description
A mid 20th century platinum diamond composite dress ring. The rectangular-shape panel comprising two old-cut diamonds with a single-cut diamond centre, to the later band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.85ct, H-I colour, SI2-P2 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 2001. Weight 3.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with overall wear. The diamonds are bright, there are easily visible internal fractures to one of the diamonds stemming throughout the diamond, some are black in colour, they are visible with the unaided eye. Some of the settings appear quite worn. The head of the ring is early to mid 20th century, the shank of the ring added at a later date and hallmarked 2001, there is a visible solder join to the shoulders. Ring size K. Weight 3.9gms.
