Lot Description
A 1970s 18ct gold diamond and sapphire cluster ring. The brilliant-cut diamond floral cluster, within a circular-shape sapphire and brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the ridged band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.05ct, I-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Hallmark for London, 1978. Weight 7.8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Light scratches and scuffs can be seen, general wear. The ridged band has heavy nicks and dents from heavy wear. These may not polish out and are easily noticeable. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. All have a faint yellow body colour. One diamond has a deep scratch to the table facet. One or two nicks are also present to a few diamonds and sapphires. The sapphires have a medium blue hue. Typical inclusions can be seen under magnification. Ring size I 1/2.
