A 1980s 18ct gold ruby and diamond cluster ring. The oval-shape ruby, within a brilliant-cut diamond and circular-shape ruby triple tiered surround, to the plain band. Estimated total ruby weight 1.50ct. Estimated total diamond weight 0.95ct, H-I colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1986. Weight 7.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. The rubies have a red to purpliush hue, with even colour saturation. Typical inclusions can be seen under magnification. They are well matched. Dimensions of principal ruby: 6.2 by 5.6 by 3.5mm. Estimated principal ruby weight 0.95ct. The is a chip to the pavilion of the principal ruby. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification to some.
