Lot Description
A mid 20th century 15ct gold and platinum sapphire and diamond bar brooch. The three graduated old-cut diamonds with circular-shape sapphire spacers to the plain bar. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct, I-J colour, P1-P2 clarity. Length 5.7cms. Weight 3.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the brooch in keeping with the age of the piece. There is an easily visible large black inclusion visible to the central diamond with the unaided eye. There are scattered inclusions to the smaller diamonds. There is slight abrasion to the facet edges of the one sapphire, the one sapphire appears more hazy and translucent than the other. The back pin is loose and may need to be secured.
