A late 19th century gold opal and diamond dress ring. The three oval opal cabochons, with old-cut diamond spacers, to the scrolling shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Weight 3.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with the age of the piece. The settings are discoloured black, with further discolouration to the band. The opals are in good condition, they have a cream body colour displaying blues, oranges and greens. The diamonds are bright. There is a chip to one visible with magnification, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. The settings may need to be secured.
