Condition Report
Overall condition fair. The opals display a good play of colour ranging from green to red flashes. A couple of the stones are pressed into their mounts. All of the opals are later replacements. Some of the opals are off round and some have speckled dark inclusions. The diamonds are bright and well matched. Individual diamonds are too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Two of the spacer diamonds are missing to both sides of the crescent, the claws are bent and broken. The mount itself has incurred some wear along the edges, with heavier scratches to the inside of the crescent in places. The pin unscrews. Unhallmarked. Weight 7.6gms.
