Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the back of the brooch, dents and areas of discolouration. The back pin is metal and has been replaced. The ruby is in good condition and the diamonds are bright, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Some of the outer bead detail is split and damaged. The settings to the gemstones may need to be secured. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers at the front of our catalogue for coloured gemstones.
The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma. For your convenience we have applied this notice to lots which contain rubies or jadeite originating in Burma, or those of indeterminate origin.
