Lot Description
An early 20th century silver key wind open face pocket watch, the white dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds counter positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, round case with milled band, engine turned decoration and a vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked Chester 1905, fitted with a full plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement, signed W.P. Ford. Case diameter 54mm. Together with a silver key wind open face pocket watch. Case diameter 50mm.

Condition Report
A pocket watch, movement is not functioning, dial has tiny marks, light discolouration to the subsidiary seconds dial, hands are noticeably bent and are discoloured, glass is scratched, some of the scratches may polish out deeper marks may remain, glass would benefit from a clean, case is noticeably discoloured and has medium scratches, signs of rubbing, shallow dents to the case back, case back does not close securely, crown is discoloured and shows signs of rubbing.
A pocket watch, movement is not functioning, at fault as missing the escape wheel, dial has tiny marks and is cracked, tiny chips to the edge, minute hand is missing, remaining hands are discoloured, subsidiary seconds hand is slightly bent, glass is scratched ad beginning to yellow, would benefit from a clean, case is noticeably discoloured and has medium scratches, a few small scuffs, crown is discoloured and rubbed.
