Lot Description
A 20th century 9ct gold keyless wind open face pocket watch signed J. W. Benson, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case hallmarked Birmingham 1928, fitted with an unsigned fifteen jewel movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 49mm. Total weight 90gms.

A J.W Benson pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, tiny marks on the dial, small marks on the hands noticeable after closer inspection, glass is lightly scratched, may polish out, there are a few deeper marks that may remain, case has heavy scratches, small scuffs, small area of scuffs and tiny score marks at the edge of case, probably caused when it was opened.
With non-original box.
