Lot Description
A continental white metal keyless wind open face chronograph pocket watch, the white dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, minute counter to twelve o'clock, outer minute track with tachymeter scale, plain round case with presentation inscription to dust cover, stamped 0.935, fitted with an unsigned movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 52mm.

Condition Report
A pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, recommend a service because the action is quite stiff, dial has tiny marks noticeable after closer inspection, very light pitting to subsidiary dial, hands are lightly scratched and discoloured, glass is scratched, some may polish out with difficulty, deeper marks may remain, would benefit from a clean, case has medium scratches and areas of light pitting, a few shallow dents, areas of discolouration, rubbing to the crown, personal inscription to the dust cover that reads ''TELFORD PREMIUM awarded to HENRY FOWLER ASSOC. MINST. CE. by The Institution of Civil Engineers. Session 1897-1898'.
