Lot Description
A gold plated keyless wind open face pocket watch signed Waltham, the white enamel dial with hourly applied Arabic numerals, bordered by a minute track, subsidiary seconds dial to six o'clock, round case, presentation engraving to the cuvette, fitted with a signed movement with club tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 50mm.

A gold plated pocket watch, movement is functioning, dial has tiny marks and light scratches, a few tiny bits of debris visible, glass is scratched and significantly cracked, replacement suggested, case has medium scratched and wear to the gold plate, small scuffs, areas of pitting, heavier pitting by the hinge, small area of score marks at edge of case, probably caused when it was opened, small areas of discolouration, presentation inscription to the dust cover that reads 'PRESENTED TO J. LOCKLEY ESQ. BY THE MEMBERS OF THE STIRCHLEY S.W.M.C PRESIDENT 1926-1930', crown and bow showing noticeable signs of rubbing.
