Lot Description
An 18k gold key wind open face pocket watch by Wakelin & Taylor of London, the gilt dial with hourly applied Arabic numerals, engine turned decoration to the centre, outer minute track, round case testing as 18k, having seed pearl decoration to both sides, orange enamel design to the rear, fitted with a signed fusee and chain movement with verge escapement and pierced balance cock. Case diameter 50mm. Total weight 90gms.

18k gold pocket watch, movement is not functioning, dial shows slight discolouration and marks from use, hands are lightly scratched, glass is scratched and scuffed from use, case has medium scratches from use, enamel shows scratches, there are small chips to the enamel in places, there is wear visible to the seed pearls, it is tough to close case and secure it, bow and pendant are scratched from use, bow is loose.
