Lot Description
A Victorian silver key wind open face pocket watch, the cream tone dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial positioned to six o'clock, bordered by a minute track, round case with milled band and a vacant cartouche to rear, hallmarked Chester 1876, fitted with an unsigned full plate fusee and chain movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. Case diameter 54mm.

Condition Report
A pocket watch, movement is not functioning, balance is broken, movement is tarnished, dial has tiny marks and light discolouration, a few small cracks, hands are marked and discoloured, minute hand is very slightly bent,glass is lightly scratched, may polish out, case is noticeably discoloured and has medium scratches, tiny dints and signs of rubbing, dent to the case back, small scuffs, crown is lightly scratched from use, spots of discolouration on the inside of the case, and personal engraving that reads 'James Achroyd Chip Shop Lowerby Bridge'.
