Lot Description
A silver key wind open face centre seconds pocket watch, the cream dial with hourly applied Roman numerals, bordered by a minute track, outer Arabic timing divisions, round case hallmarked Chester 1886, vacant cartouche to the rear, fitted with a three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement signed G. Aaronson, Manchester. Case diameter 52mm.

Condition Report
A silver pocket watch, movement is currently functioning, tanrishing and light scratches to the movement, dial has tiny marks and light discolouration, residue visible, hands are marked and discoloured, glass is scratched and chipped, some of the marks may polish out with difficulty, deeper marks may remain, case has medium scratches and small scuffs, tiny dints and light pitting, score marks at edge of case, probably caused when it was opened, heavier scratches by the hinge, cartouche beginning to show signs of rubbing, crown is lightly scratched from use.
