Lot Description

An incomplete gilt key wind pair case repeater by J. Boverick, London, the white enamel dial with black Roman numeral hour markers surrounded by an outer minute track, the case, decorated with floral and foliate detail with engraving to back, pierced out sides, missing outer case, signed gilt full plate fusee and chain movement with cylinder escapement, pierced balance cock and diamond end stone. Case diameter 41mm.

Gilt pair case repeater pocket watch, key wind movement is not currently functioning however the balance and fusee chain appear to be intact, repeater is currently functioning sporadically, the repeating chain is running but does not always engage with the hammers, cracking to the centre of the dial and spreading outwards, few tiny marks to the dial, some light rubbing to a couple of the hour markers, tiny scratches to the hands, the glass is scratched, case has medium scratches and tiny dints, rubbing to the gilt plating, plating to the pendant is very heavily rubbed.
