Lot Description
A late 19th century gold gem-set ring. The rose-cut diamond and seed pearl central panel, flanked by seed pearl and circular-shape ruby lines, to the earlier replacement band. Hallmarks for Chester, 1870. Weight 2.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Seed pearls vary in size and shape. One of the principal seed pearls is fairly worn. Three of the smaller seed pearls have obvious surface imperfections. Discolouration to one side of ring due to repair work. Ring size N1/2. The head is a modern reproduction.
