A ruby and diamond brooch. Of openwork foliate design, the foil-back square-shape ruby cluster to the diamond point swags with foil-back circular and square-shape ruby and diamond point floral detail. Length 4.4cms. Weight 11.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Some gems deficient. The pin and clasp are base metal replacements. The foil-backed rubies are moderately well matched with typical inclusions including some surface reaching fissures. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Unhallmarked, appears to be a low carat gold colour and mostly white metal. Weight 11.9gms. Please see important notices in the front of the catalogue for coloured stones.
