A diamond and sapphire moth brooch. The vari-cut diamond body and wings, to the circular sapphire cabochon eyes. Estimated total diamond weight 1.80cts. Length 4.5cms. Weight 9.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Some discolouration to the reverse. Sapphires medium blue. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Sapphires in good to fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Diamonds are mostly old-cut with a few single-cut and rose-cuts. Diamonds fairly bright and vary slightly in hue. Some are slightly more yellow in hue than others. Scattered inclusions visible under 10x magnification. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Diamonds in fair condition with some abrasion and nibbles. Brooch fitting in good working order. Unhallmarked.
