Lot Description
A late 19th century 15ct gold coral cameo ring. The coral, carved to depict a woman with flowers in her hair, to the scalloped surround and replacement 9ct gold band. Band with hallmarks for Chester, 1937. Weight 4.5gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band is a replacement with small dents and has been repaired/resized with discolouration. The scalloped mount has wear to the top and bottom. The coral is untested for natural colour origin. The coral is a mottled pinkish orange hue with noticeable polyp holes to the reverse. The cameo has a small nick to the nose. Coral dimensions 18.5 by 14.7mms. Ring size L 1/2.
