Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and dents in keeping with general wear. The earrings have been adapted from the late 19th century originals, with modern replacement figaro-link connecting chain and modern replacement screw-back fitting for non-pierced ears. The smaller garnet cabochon sections have small soft solder repairs. The white enamel flower surmount to the larger garnet cabochon is a replacement with a redundant hoop fitting. The lower enamel section to the larger garnet is possibly a later addition, possibly re-enameled. The enamel has minor nicks and scratches. The garnets are foil-backed and have minor surface abrasions. The smaller garnet section is stamped 15ct.
