An 18ct gold diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond to the asymmetric shoulders and plain band. Estimated diamond weight 0.60ct, J-K colour, P1 clarity. Hallmarks for London, 1979. Weight 3.2gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear. Dimensions of diamond: 5.5 by 5.7 by 3.3mm. The diamond is bright and lively. A heavy chip and some nicks can be seen to the girdle. Fine feathers and fractures can be seen under magnification. Hallmark is rubbed. Ring is off round and has been resized. Ring size P.
