An 18ct gold opal and diamond five-stone ring. The graduated circular and oval cabochons, with old-cut diamond spacers, to the openwork gallery and replacement early 20th century band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Hallmarks for 18ct gold. Weight 4.2gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The band has been replaced with one with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1901. There are modern, partial gold marks near the gallery. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, estimated J-K colour, P1 clarity with surface reaching fractures. The opals are well matched with a good play of colour, predominantly green and orange. The opals have significant abrasion. Ring size K 1/2.
