Lot Description

Two items of early and mid 20th century jewellery, to include an early 20th century openwork paste brooch and a pair of mid 20th century imitation pearl and paste cluster ear clips. Length of brooch 5cms. Ear clip diameter 1.7cms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and tarnishing in keeping with age. Some of the pastes are more yellow in hue than others. Pastes in good condition with minor abrasion. Imitation pearls creamy yellow, fair condition with surface scratches and abrasion. Brooch has possibly been repaired or adapted, with visible solder to the sides. Heavy scratches to the reverse. Ear clips are also  heavily tarnished to the reverse. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Brooch with a stamp resembling a steaming beaker. Ear clips unhallmarked. Ear clips have screw-back fittings for un-pierced ears.
