Lot Description

A late 19th century garnet pendant, of oval-shape outline, the crossover centre panel with raised pear-shape top facet garnet trefoil accents within a vari-cut garnet surround. Fourteen garnets deficient. Length 5.6cms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair to poor. There are several garnets missing that would need to be replaced. There are chips and areas of abrasion to some garnets, the settings would need to be checked. There are scratches and areas of discolouration to the reverse. There was originally a brooch fitting to the reverse which has broken off. Weight 14.3gms.
