The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The york rose brooch is hallmarked for James Fenton, Birmingham, 1946. The enamel has some surface scratches and small, shallow chips to the inner rose design. The danish brooch is stamped 930s, Monster Beskyttet, and AD with a crown surmount, the makers mark for A. Dragsted. The right bottom flower shows a significant chip to the enamel, showing slight metal. The bow brooch is stamped JA&S within a diamond mark and sterling silver. The green, white and purple enamel shows a pinhole where the enamel did not take, and some fine, stained cracks near the centre of the bow.
