An early 20th century shakudo buckle, comprising two oval-shape panels, one depicting storks by a riverbank, the other depicting a partridge by a tree, each with foliate detail. Total length 6.4cms.

There is moderate wear to the background, the stork is missing a section of the silver overlay. There are numerous small sections of wear to the gold overlay. Unsigned. Weight 38.1gms.
