Lot Description
An early 20th century 15ct gold split pearl and enamel locket. Of circular outline, the split pearl within a blue guilloche enamel surround, with scroll and foliate accents and white enamel border. Personal inscription to reverse reads 'M.O 16th April 1909'. Diameter 2.2cms. Weight 7.7gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are slight scratches to the locket in keeping with the age of the locket. There are some slight scratches and scattered areas of more pronounced shallow abrasion in places, easily visible when the enamel is turned against the light. The split pearl is in good condition. There are some small chips to the white enamel. Locket stamped 15 to the inner back casing. The glass to the photo is missing. The locket opens and closes securely.
