An early 20th century 15ct gold and platinum gem-set bar brooch. The old-cut diamond, with circular-shape sapphire spacers, to the knife-edge bar with split pearl terminals. Estimated diamond weight 0.45ct, J-K colour, SI clarity. Length 6.3cms. Weight 4.8gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The diamond appears bright, with graining and a small indented natural near the girdle. Please see important notices for purchasers in the catalogue for Coloured Gemstones. The sapphires are a deep, vibrant blue hue with minor colour zoning and abrasion. The split pearls are a well matched deep greyish hue. Unhallmarked.
