A mid 20th century platinum sapphire and diamond five-stone ring. The graduated oval-shape sapphires with old-cut diamond intervals, to the tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Weight 2.8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the ring in keeping with the age of the piece. There is abrasion to the facet edges of the sapphires visible with the unaided eye, there is abrasion to the facet faces of the central sapphire, they would benefit from a repolish. There is angular colour zoning to the central sapphire visible with magnification. The diamonds are quite heavily included with scattered black inclusions, there are chips to the girdles of both diamonds, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
