Lot Description
A late 19th century 18ct gold diamond and pearl crescent brooch. The vari-coloured graduated cultured pearls, alternating with graduated old-cut diamonds. Estimated total diamond weight 0.75ct, H-I colour, SI clarity. Length 2.6cms. Weight 3.9gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Unhallmarked. The diamonds appear bright and well matched, with scattered light inclusions. Some individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. The cultured pearls are moderately well matched, some cultured pearls are not circular in shape. The cultured pearls range with green, pinky peach and pale pinkish grey hues, all with good lustre and overtones. Cultured pearls possibly replacements. 9ct gold pin possibly a replacement.
