A continental mid 20th century gold and silver diamond butterfly brooch. The old-cut diamond body, with similarly-cut diamond wings and circular ruby cabochon eyes. Estimated total diamond weight 5.75ct. Length 5.3cms. Weight 10.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. The edges of the brooch are quite sharp. There are inclusions to the rubies visible with magnification. The diamonds are bright , a couple of the diamonds are chipped, this is visible with magnification, individual size and/or setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment.
