A mid 19th century gold micro mosaic panel. The vari-coloured tesserae depicting a floral spray, inset to the rectangular-shape onyx panel, to the ridged surround with openwork scrolling sides. Length 4.8cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition poor. Some surface wear and light tarnishing in keeping with age. Micro mosaic has a large crack that extends across the entire panel. One area of the scroll frame is damaged. The back is adhered with a piece of material, which is partly peeling away. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue for coloured gemstones. Mount 18ct gold.
