Lot Description

A late 19th century gold cross pendant. The scrolling foliate and geometric engraving, to the trefoil terminals. Length 6cms. Weight 6.2gms.

The lot is in fair to good overall condition with scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. The method of construction at this time was to meld two sheets of gold to a base metal core, this piece is not solid gold throughout. The bottom edge of the cross shows wear through to the base metal, as does a small area to the base where a construction hole is filed. Unhallmarked.
