A pair of 1940s 9ct gold ruby and diamond ear clips. Each designed as an old-cut diamond collet, to the similarly-cut diamond scroll and calibre-cut ruby fan detail. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct. Length 2.5cms. Weight 7.4gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general wear. Diamonds bright and lively. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Rubies pinkish-red with surface abrasions. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
