Overall condition fair. There are scratches to the brooch in keeping with overall wear. The back brooch fitting appears to have been added replaced at a later date date and there is visible lead solder residue to the sides. There are numerous splits to the gold engraved sides. The rubies vary in shade some with easily visible inclusions, there is abrasion to the facet edges. The colourless pastes are substantially abraded in areas. The settings would need to be secured.
